Listed below are the tours for the upcoming three months. Further information, including prices, can be obtained by contacting the office at 604-483-3345 or 604-483-1408 or you can send us an email. Please note confirmation deadlines.

Regular office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm. When we are away from the office please leave your name and number and the tour you are interested in on the answering machine and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

All tour fares include: travel, accommodation, most meals, entrance tickets, sightseeing, gratuities, and door-to-door pickup. Cancellation protection (10% of tour price excluding GST) is recommended as the fare is non-refundable, although it is transferable to another person for the same trip.

  • Tour No. 1:  Wednesday, July 2 - Saturday, July 5
    Four Day Casino Trip to the Lower Mainland
    Travel; accommodation (three nights in New Westminster); three breakfasts; travel to seven casinos (Gateway Casino in Burnaby, Fraser Downs Casino in Cloverdale, Boulevard Casino in Coquitlam, Cascades Casino in Langley, Starlight Casino in New Westminster, River Rock Casino in Richmond, and the Edgewater Casino in downtown Vancouver); slot play coupons and food vouchers; a visit to Chocolate Works; and door-to-door pickup will all be provided.

  • Tour No. 2:  Friday, July 18 - Saturday, July 19
    James Taylor, in concert, Vancouver
    James Taylor was born March 12, 1948 in Boston, Mass.. Taylor's career began in the mid-1960s, but he found his audience in the early 1970s, singing sensitive and gentle acoustic songs. He was part of a wave of singer-songwriters of the time that also included Joni Mitchell, Tom Rush, Cat Stevens, Carole King, John Denver, Jim Croce, Don McLean, and Jackson Browne, as well as Carly Simon, whom Taylor later married. Taylor has earned 40 gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards and 5 Grammy Awards for a catalog running from 1970's Sweet Baby James to his Grammy Award-winning efforts Hourglass (1997) and October Road (2002). Taylor's first Greatest Hits album earned him the RIAA's elite Diamond Award, given for sales in excess of 10 million units in the United States. For his accomplishments, James was honored with the 1998 Century Award, Billboard magazine's highest accolade, bestowed for distinguished creative achievement. The year 2000 saw his induction into both the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and the prestigious Songwriter's Hall of Fame. In February 2006, The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences selected James as its MUSICARES Person of the Year.   • Tour No. 3:  Wednesday, July 23 - Thursday, July 24
    "South Pacific", Chemainus Theatre
    South Pacific, with music by Richard Rogers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein and book by Hammerstein and Joshua Logan, based on two short stories by James A. Mitchener,is generally considered to be one of the greatest musicals of all time. Several of its songs, including "Bali Ha'i," "Some Enchanted Evening," "Younger than Springtime," and "A Wonderful Guy" have become worldwide standards. South Pacific is the only musical ever to have won all four Tony Awards for acting. It was nominated for nine Tonys and won all of them. The musical was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1950.   • Tour No. 4:  Friday, August 1   DAY TRIP
    Filberg Festival, Comox
    Featuring some of Canada's best artisans, the 26th Annual Filberg Festival takes place on the grounds of the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in Comox. The Festival encourages excellence in all forms of arts and crafts. It also features wonderful music and entertainment for all ages, as well as a wide range of culinary treats. Travel; one lunch and one dinner; sightseeing; and door-to-door pickup will all be provided.

  • Tour No. 5:  Tuesday, August 5 - Thursday, August 7
    Train to Victoria, 150th Birthday Exhibit at B.C. Museum and Butchart Gardens
    We will be travelling by bus, ferry and train to Victoria. In honour of British Columbia's 150th birthday, the Royal BC Museum has a special exhibit, "Free Spirit: Stories of You, Me and B.C." . Also featured is an exhibit entitled "War Brides: One-Way Passage". A visit to Butchart Gardens is a must. Travel (including train); accommodation (two nights in downtown Victoria); side tour fees; two dinners, two lunches and two breakfasts; sightseeing; and door-to-door pickup will all be provided.

  • Tour No. 6:  Sunday, August 10 - Tuesday, August 12
    Coombs Fair, 'Francis Barkley' to Ucluelet and Parksville Sandcastles
    The Coombs Fair has everything a Fall Fair should, except that it is in the summer! From Port Alberni, the 'Frances Barkley', a working freighter, will take us on the Ucluelet Day Trip, which makes a stop in Sechart (Broken Group Islands). In Parksville, the Sandcastle Competition will be over, but the sculptures will still be up for us to enjoy. Travel (including freighter); accommodation (two nights in Port Alberni); side tour fees; two dinners, two lunches and two breakfasts; sightseeing; and door-to-door pickup will all be provided.

  • Tour No. 7:  Tuesday, August 19 - Thursday, August 21
    Paddlewheeler Riverboat Cruise to Fort Langley
    The Birthplace of B.C., 150 years ago!

    Aboard the authentic paddlewheeler M.V. Native, we will be following the route of the Gold Seekers on the historic Fraser River, viewing wildlife, mountain and meadow vistas and the bustle of a working river. Once in Fort Langley, we will have 1 1/2 hours to explore the unique and fascinating village of Fort Langley as well as the original Hudson's Bay Trading Post. This full day (7 hour) cruise includes an entertaining and fascinating narration of the Fraser's past and our province's 150th birthday.     Back by popular demand!! Last year we had so much fun exploring the Peninsula, we thought we would offer it once again. Find out for yourself what there is to see at the end of those roads you always zip past to get to the Langdale ferry!
